Thank you for all your prayers. God answered each of the three prayers I shared early this morning.
Prayers (Matt.7:7):
1. The swelling on Leah's feet will reduce
2. We can get past this jet lag business
3. Restored health - no more sneezing and sinus inflamation
Leah's feet a much better - the swelling has gone down. I realized my problem was dehydration! So after several glasses of water my health was restored, praise the Lord! No more tiredness, no more sneezing or inflamed sinuses. We had a wonderful day touring sites within the Karen area.

Philip our guide at Kazuri |

We started by visiting
Kazuri (which means "small and beautiful" in Swahili). This is a hand-making bead factory whose objective is
to provide and sustain employment opportunities for disadvantaged single mothers by produce top quality Hand-made and Hand-painted Ceramic Jewelry and Pottery. They sell their bead work all over the world. We were given a tour of the factory by Philip. We had an opportunity to meet some of the women as they were making the beads in the different sections of the factory. This factory was started by an English woman - Lady Susan Wood who trained two Kenyan women to make beads from clay. Ms. Wood soon discovered that there were many other
women in the villages around Nairobi, most of whom were single mothers,
who were in great need of regular employment. Driven by the desire to
provide such opportunities, Kazuri has grown and today we have a large
work force skilled in the making of handmade jewellery. This was a moving experience as we watched women whose lives have been changed for the better economically by a desire of one woman to touch the lives of those within her sphere of influence. Ruth - one of the women at the factory made clay rhinos using mold and gave Leah and I one each. She had a pretty smile and clearly was happy to be part of this wonderful endeavor.

After Kazuri we then went to the
Giraffe Manor also located in Karen. The fascinating thing about the Manor is its herd of resident Rothschild's Giraffe. We visited the part of the Manor where the Giraffes come to be fed by visitors. The Kenya Wildlife staff provide you with a small packet of nutritious pellets to feed the Giraffes. It is a fascinating experience getting very close to the Giraffes which eagerly stick out their grey wet tongues as you feed them the pellets. The Giraffe is my favorite animal. They are tall, strong and majestic.

After the Giraffe Manor we visited the
Bomas of Kenya where we watched various cultural dances that reflect the diverse multi-ethnic groups in Kenya. This was a lot of fun and I am very glad Leah got to enjoy watching the various dances. However, she declined requests by the dancers to join the dances.😃

We returned home and after supper did our final prep and had a time of prayer as we get ready for our Precious Jewels Summit at St. Francis Church, tomorrow, Saturday, November 23rd.
Prayers 🙏:
1. That the Lord will be glorified in the teaching
2. For wisdom for any last minute decisions we may need to make
3. That lives will be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Good night.😴
